This very special Home Recording Boot Camp is held in a small boutique studio built into the private early 17th century Villa Prossdocimi (originally the country villa of Lord Bissara of Vicenza) outside of Venice in the Veneto region of North Italy. Although the course material covers almost all of the same topics as the Los Angeles based Recording Boot Camp, the ?Italian Villa Boot Camp? is designed to be an all encompassing recording holiday: A complete immersion in the craft of recording as well as Italian food, wine, and culture.
I still can’t believe this really happened to me, so nice was everything, the amazing workshop, the awesome location, the great food, not to mention the great dinners and last, but not least, the great people I met who will live in my Heart forever ! Thank you so much , Ronan! – Markus, Hamburg Germany
In addition to 6 days of recording workshops, your tuition also includes Italian wine and home cooked Italian meals (lunch prepared by the Prosdocimi family, who has called the villa home for over 300 years), dinners at local family owned boutique restaurants specializing in local cuisine, and hotel accommodations*. Of course, this being North Italy there will also be coffee, Limoncello and Grappa.
“Will never forget the this week, was an awesome experience!” -Stephan, Switzerland
The Workshops are open to students from around world, but all instruction will be in English.
This Boot Camp will have special pricing: The cost is 1290 Euros
Please contact us with any questions and see the bottom of the page for all the fine print.
The studio is truly a little piece of paradise on earth, but I never realized you would have to recover from visiting paradise

The fine print about the Italy Recording Boot Camp
*Tuition is based on 2 person per room shared accommodation at a 3 star hotel close to the villa for the six nights before each day of class. Private rooms are available for surcharge of 120 Euros (20 euros per night).
**The optional (but strongly recommended) day trip to Venice is not part of the tuition. HRBC will arrange the logistics and provide a private guided tour free of charge, but each student will pay his or her own transportation (probably a 20 Euros train ticket) and food on this day, as well as any lodging costs related to staying for the optional day in Venice.
Included with the meals are regional wines, coffee and specialty drinks and are included in the course fee. Any drinks after (or between) the meals is the responsibility of the students.
This Recording Boot Camp will sell out. To reserve a spot in the class a 50% deposit is required. Those paying in US dollars, the deposit will be calculated based on the exchange rate at the time the deposit is paid. We accept deposits via check, bank transfer/wire and paypal (+3%) Final payment is required before or on the first day of the workshop.
The Recording Boot Camp is designed for advanced beginner to intermediate students. Before registering prospective students must be approved by Ronan after an interview via phone, skype or email.
In order to keep the costs down, the transportation to various restaurants and outings will not be glamorous. Think piling into cars and SUVs instead of limos. The food, wine, locations and friendships on the other hand will be amazing.
Much of the dining is family style North Italian food, which is can be heavy on meats, diary and Seafood. Vegetarians/Vegans are more than welcome to attend and we would make sure you do not starve but would probably not have the same culinary holiday that non-vegetarians will have.
For those coming from outside the E.U. please make sure that you check to see if you require a passport of visa to enter Italy.
